1. Information We Collect
We collect and store only the minimum necessary information to provide our services:
- User Details: Name, email address, and other contact information submitted during setup.
- Deal Data: Property addresses, mortgage information, rents, and offer-related data that users input or upload.
- Google OAuth Credentials: When users connect their Gmail account, we securely store the refresh_token using OAuth 2.0 in order to send emails on the user's behalf. We do not read or store inbox content, attachments, or other Gmail data.
2. How We Use Google Gmail Access
We request access to the Gmail API using the scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send
We use this solely to:
- Send offer emails from the user's connected Gmail account to real estate agents and related contacts, using content the user has created or approved.
We do not access, read, or store the contents of any user's inbox or sent mail folders.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used strictly for:
- Automating email communication from your Gmail
- Managing your deal pipeline
- Enhancing your experience inside the Real Automate platform
- Improving future features (e.g., reporting, offer history)
We do not share or sell your data to third parties.
4. Future Use of Payments
While we do not currently process payments, we may introduce paid plans in the future. When this happens, we will update this policy and notify users before collecting any billing information.
5. Data Security
We use modern security practices including:
- Secure HTTPS connections
- Encrypted storage for sensitive tokens
- Limited access to backend systems
- OAuth 2.0 industry standards for Gmail integration
Users can revoke Gmail access at any time via their Google Account permissions.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You can:
- Disconnect Gmail from Real Automate at any time
- Request that we delete your data by emailing: labs.automate@gmail.com
